About  Us

We are of Sierra Leone origin living abroad.  We visit often and when we do, we travel a lot and live locally. We can therefore identify areas where we can contribute to development. As Sierra Leoneans, living abroad, we need to be seen, by the outside world to be interested in developing our own country before we can be able to convince others to invest here.  Our personal contributions to development can also help boost the tourist industry in the country.

We have launched this site in order to encourage Sierra Leoneans living abroad to invest in their country of origin and develop without fear, by buying land and contributing to the rural development of Sierra Leone in particular, and the country in general.  Whilst, living and working abroad, mostly in big cities all over the world, buying land back home would be worthwhile investments.  We could consider building holiday homes, and benefit from the tranquility of the countryside, whilst in family surroundings.  This will also be a place where you call your own when you return, even if for a short time.  You will not have to stay with a friend or relative anymore if you do not want to!

You will not be too far away from the city of Freetown either.  Freetown is just a ferry ride away.  So where else but a piece of land at Mahera and its surrounding areas, like Lungi and other towns. Wherever you buy in the area, the seaside is only a few minutes away!

We will work with you through the purchasing process until you have the papers in your hands.  If you need a lawyer, we will recommend a reputable one in the country. So far we have not needed one because we work very closely with the local authorities and local people who own the land.  However, it will not hurt to have one in the "wings".

Whatever project you intend to undertake, when you acquire the plot of land, you will be actively participating in the development of the town and its surrounding areas.  You will involve local people directly and indirectly, either by employment or by using local produce, materials and services.

Your participation in the growth of their towns will make a big difference to them whilst you acquire your quiet, serene, private, undisturbed atmosphere that you will have had the opportunity to create for yourself.

Ideas may include a beach house or a bungalow you can come to once, twice or three times a year for your holiday and the rest of the time, find friends that you might want to rent it to, for their holidays.

We would like to work out a database of landowners, and potential buyers, especially if you live abroad, so that we can share ideas for development.  It may be some sort of club for exchanging ideas for development now. 

Most overseas buyers have not yet developed their land, probably because they are waiting for others to start and "see how it goes".  Only a few have taken the bold steps to build stunningly beautiful houses.
